Despite the awareness of the importance of blood donations in saving lives only 3.8% of the population in Israel donates blood regularly (1200 units/day).
An innovative smart phone application was developed, to facilitate recruitment of young donors, raise their consciousness and ease their access to blood collection sites nationwide.
